A well designed website or app lends instant credibility, conveying professionalism and trustworthiness. Whether it’s incremental enhancements or a complete overhaul, I balance visual design, creative strategy, usability, and business objectives to create remarkable interfaces that exceed client expectations. Below are a few examples.
A website redesign I created for a health, fitness, and wellness company. The goal was to create a modern interface that focuses largely on services and classes to drive new memberships. I used a mixture of client provided and stock images to emanate authenticity, selecting striking photos with a richness that would appeal to site visitors and motivate them to act.
Mobile app screens I designed as a part of a UX consultant engagement I had with the BMW Technology group, where I was tasked with making recommendations for usability enhancements for the ConnectedDrive App (now MyBMW).
A responsive homepage I designed for PLI , a nationally focused initiative of the Center for Urban Families designed to support human services practitioners in working to improve outcomes for low-income fathers and families. My goal with the homepage redesign was to create an interface that was informative, engaging, attractive, and undeniably Baltimore by incorporating iconic local imagery and graphics to give a nod to the city, while capturing the passion and energy of the community.
A website I designed for a First Delta Group, a company that represents top brands to national retailers, enterprise and B2B companies, helping them to get their products on retail shelves and into the hands of consumers. I designed a new interface that largely leverages the arrow shape of the client’s logo to create a website that is uniquely branded and memorable.
A responsive corporate website I designed for a benefit administration company to align with their new logo and brand identity (which I also designed). The cornerstone of the design was impactful imagery and custom iconography to create an unconventional site—that was both useful and contemporary—in comparison to similar companies with more conservative and uninspired interfaces.
